One of the biggest motivators for me is the love and appreciation I have received from all my friends, family, members if the press and members of the public who have been made aware of my journey so far.
The decision to go professional and become a full time motorsport professional was largely influenced by the belief that my friends and family showed in my skills; always believing that I could do it for me and for India. I can never than those who encouraged me for their belief in my ability as I have been able to come this far largely because of those words of encouragement, that little tip or the cheers that came my way right through this journey.
I would love to hear back from you, please post you comments, suggestions, feedback… brickbats or love, all are welcome. I am personally going to make an effort to reply to all of you.

Hey guys……I was fortunate to witness Gaurav’s PWRC debut in wales last year. I met him personally during the event and i could figure out happiness on his face to meet only Indian supporter in his debut event.
Will like to share a funny incidence with you all, when Gaurav came on ramp during ceremonial start for the event, anchor standing next to Gaurav gave him best wishes and said “I don’t thing so there is any supporter for your team” and at that same instant I shouted from the crowd….”Gaurav….come on….India is proud to have you standing on WRC ramp….wish you best of luck”. Gaurav and anchor started looking here and there, I came in front and wished him again. He was shocked and too happy at that moment. Rolling down from ramp he stopped his car next to me and gave a ‘thump sup’. Then I met him at middle of the road when traffic lights were red, we had a great chat till lights turn green and then he left. I hope he remember this funny incident.
I have some of his great pictures and videos taken during the event. Right from ceremonial start, shakedown and during stages. I will like to share this will you all, and if possible on this site as well.

I am 25 years old and keenly interested to make my career in rallying.I do watch the WRC and lately, I have been following the Indian rallies and it has increased my passion towards the sport. I own a opel corsa and I have tried all possible things on it. I am looking out for a platform which would give me the opportunity to prove myself in this field.
I have been conversing with Mr Niaz Ali and he has been of great help as far as the initial advice is concerned. He asked me to speak to Leelakrishnan as he is the one who would take me forward and churn my skills if I do have it in me.
When I spoke with Leelakrishnan he was very calm and a great guy as he asked me to take a test with him in his red rooster in the presence of the likes of Naren and Vikram.
I told him that I have been driving from the age of 13 and have been a great fan of speed and manage to drive recklessly but in a controlled manner. I am pretty sure I have good control over a car and I can burn a tyre to the rim.
You are an ace Team MRF Driver and a pioneer in the world of Indian Motorsports.
Taking part in the INRC or any offroad events is out of my budjet.
My dreams at the moment outweigh my wallet. My main motto to register with rally.co.in was to develop networking with people like you whose credentials speak for themselves.
I don’t want to loose it simply because I don’t have that kind of money.
I am working with a MNC and earning a good salary, but I know it wont be enough to cater to my needs and dreams of rallying and I want to make it big.
I want to know the details from where I can start off.
I have a genuine interest towards the sport and intend to make a career out of it!
